The Confidential Advice to Counsel Committee is composed of senior prosecutors from across the country. The Committee is called upon by the Acting Deputy Director, Criminal Litigation and Organized Crime Branch to consider proposed practice directions relating to areas of the law that are of relevance to federal prosecutors and, if appropriate, to recommend their adoption by the Director.
